BM's a new, user-generated photographic restaurant guide showcasing dishes the world over -- but since its founders are UCI grads, the current content's dominated by SoCal gorge-eterias. Searching by city or keyword yields you a vast trove of pics, cluing you in to the grub's desirability/loathability/bigness.

Worst Mom of the year award goes to....

You thought I was going to say Britney Spears, right? Wrong. She was beat out this time by a deranged Indian woman who thought it would be "cute" to let her baby flop around on the floor with a friggin' cobra.

Padilla Pictures

The Padilla clan (all 9 of us) got together to take a family portrait for our mommies 60th birthday coming up. Besides all of the drama it takes to get everyone to show up to the same place at the same time, the pictures turned out OK. Click here to see the pictures of all of us.

Ironman Teaser Trailer

Finally we get to see some Ironman action in this newly released teaser from Marvel. I have high expectations for this film because of the cast and director that are involved. My son and I are big fans of Ironman, and are counting the days until the May 2nd, 2008 release.

Summer is officially over for us as the kids start school tomorrow morning and Tisha starts her new job. Something tells me that we will still get to the beach on the weekends and maybe even sneak in a river run because it's still over 100 degrees outside! Damn it's hot.

Tay brings home another trophy

Taylah's Soccer team brought home the Labor Day Classic Girls under 14 Championship. They braved the extreme heat (114 degrees!) and swept the competition 4-0. Good job Tay-tay!
