And so it ends...

The Lakers postseason is over. Actually, it ended Game 1 of the NBA Finals. That game showed that we didn't stand a chance against a hungrier, tougher, more disciplined team. I won't say their name because we don't mention those leprechauns on this blog. As a lifelong Laker fan, it is a hard pill to swallow. So hard in fact, that I refused to watch the last five minutes of the fourth quarter. Usually I punish myself and re-watch the games later at night, win OR lose. There is nothing worse than seeing the most hated rival celebrate a world championship. Hopefully the squad takes some lessons from this experience and we get to do it all over again next year.
