The teaser trailer came out this Thanksgiving weekend and there was a collective gasp among the nerd-verse. You can see the trailer here and hopefully it evokes the same spine-tingling, nostalgia-filled giddiness that I felt upon my first viewing. Oh yeah, the MF'in MF is back!

Few things are as adorable as "The itty bitty" ballerinas. After her second class, Daniella was comfortable going at it alone, as Mom and Dad watch with great admiration through the classroom window. After about 8 classes, the girls were participating in Anaheim YMCAs first ever performing arts show. The kids did not disappoint and fun was had by all.

Our second time with Missy was an epic fail in regards to her interacting with the Characters. She was slightly panicked every time we approached Mickey, Minnie or any other one of her favorite people. I like to think she is star struck and maybe she needs time to warm up to them. Regardless, we had a good time and it was fun to be out with the family on MLK day.

Yesterday we lost one of our precious family pets. Out tortoise "Squirt" passed away on 1/1/14 at the tender age of 9 years old. I don't know how this happened but I know that I'm feeling a tremendous amount of sadness and guilt. She may have been stricken with cancer or a parasite of some kind, but whatever it was, it took her very fast. I was going to take her to the vet the very next day, but I was too late...

Initially, I was planning on throwing a extravagant party for my birthday, but being the low-key dude that I am, I opted for a more intimate, enjoyable experience. We rented a 12 passenger van and headed to San Diego for a craft beer tour. I REALLY love the San Diego craft beer scene, and I wanted my closest friends and family to share in my excitement over some really tasty beer. We visited Green Flash Brewery, and then headed to Ballast Point, before closing out with dinner and drinks at Stone World Bistro and Gardens. The Picture below summarizes the day trip and I was satisfied with how the whole thing turned out.
